Which marine creatures have the best natural weapons? In this video I will be trying to answer that question and many more as I will be going through 5 marine creatures with the best natural weapons. Many creatures have natural weapons either to defend themselves or to help them catch their prey. In this video I will be going through the mantis shrimp, the cone snail, the thresher sharks, stingrays, and the sawsharks.

For our first species we will be heading to tropical oceans as we have the mantis shrimp. Mantis shrimp aren't actually shrimp. Mantis shrimp have some of the most effective smashing clubs in the animal kingdom.
For our next species we will be heading to deep temperate oceans as we have the thresher sharks. Thresher sharks are some of the most elegant sharks in the world. Thresher sharks use their elongated tails to helps them whip fish.
For our next species we will be heading to shallow coastal areas as we have the cone snails. Most aquatic snails are very slow and underwhelming but the cone snails are actually prolific predators. These snails are venomous and use their specialised tooth to help them catch worms and fish.
For our next species we will be heading to all oceans worldwide as we have the stingrays. There are many species of stingray on the planet today and they have a not so secret weapon. Stingrays don't use their barbs to catch prey as they're used for self defence.
For our final species we will be heading to brackish coastal waters as we have the sawfish. Sawfish are some of the largest fish in the ocean but unfortunately today most of them are critically endangered. Sawfish use their so called saw to help them detect and catch their prey.
If you know of any other creatures with natural weapons then let me know in the comments below?
Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed :)
