How I take my Hair from Gray to Gorgeous with Henna

I'm Deborah Brommer a henna artist and body painter, here I show you how I dye the grey roots of my hair a deep auburn red using all natural henna. I use the same kind of henna that I use for my henna body art.

(Edit: I use natural, body art quality henna powder. Natural henna only comes in one color.... red, don't buy henna hair color that claims to dye your hair brown or black because that means they are NOT all natural 100% henna and either won't do as they promise or are loaded with dangerous chemicals. Most of my hair is still dark, in this video I am parting my hair on my gray streak, so it looks like I'm really gray, but as you can see the henna colors my grays a deep red and blends them nicely into my dark brown hair to give an auburn effect.

The most important things for good, dark results when hennaing your hair is to 1. use a generous amount of henna (look at how thickly I apply it in the video), 2. make sure it is wrapped well in plastic to keep it moist the whole time it is on your head, 3. leave it on for a LONG time.....if you are covering gray hair and want it as dark as possible leave it on for 5 to 6 hours. I know this sounds like a real pain in the butt, but the results are totally worth it!
