Train strike: Passenger says she had to take a midnight bus from Carlisle to reach London

Описание: A passenger in Victoria Coach Station in central London has said she had to take a midnight bus from Carlisle to reach London.

Anne Milligan was on a journey to the Sussex coast to see friends, which she would have preferred to make by rail.

The UK’s biggest bus hub is extremely busy, with departures every few minutes to national and international destinations on National Express, Megabus and FlixBus.

"All fine, the roads were clear, straight through. National Express coaches, they’ve got it covered," Ms Milligan said of the alternative route.
