Discipline is one of the most important pre-requisites for success. But unfortunately, everyone is aware of this fact, but few truly understand its real meaning.

Why is the advantage of being Disciplined? Well, it brings structure & stability. It all begins at a young stage, right from student life and you will not only find it in schools but also in society as a whole. Now, why is it so important? Because if there is no discipline people would do whatever they want and make mistakes without putting the consideration of others first and foremost.

But, does this mean that we would need to bind ourselves in some kind of shackle? Absolutely not. Discipline is, in fact, freedom, freedom from laziness and lethargy, freedom from the expectations and demands of others, freedom from weakness and fear and doubt. Let's take a look at a simple example. If, supposedly, your goal is an excellent annual result in school, what would you do? Yes!! You would study!! But not everything at the same time and instead, one subject at a time. Isn't that Discipline!! It would require you to cover chapters of different subjects, timely revisions, sharing your problems with teachers and if you closely look at this whole process, you will find that the bridge between your goal and accomplishment is - Discipline

It is only because of Discipline that we are able to run a society, organizations and in fact, the whole World.
