Описание: Michael Arnstein has been a competitive runner from a young age and has always experimented with changing his diet to see if it would improve his performance and help him to lose weight.

He became a vegan because of ethical reasons and later decided to try the high fat raw approach. After finding many downsides to that way of eating he gave up on a raw vegan diet until coming across the 80/10/10 Diet, a book that his wife encouraged him to read.

He gave the diet a try and fell in love with the simplicity of a fruit and vegetable diet. His running performance improved immediately and he went on to run the 5th fastest time for an American at the New York Marathon (2:28.12, 30th Overall, 5th American, 2nd in age group 30-34, New PR 5:39 per mile average).

He went on to compete and win many ultramarathon races, inspired by the invincible feeling the lifestyle gave him.

Looking to share the lifestyle with others, he put together the Woodstock Fruit festival and brought together many of the leading influencers and experts in the fruitarian movement for the first time. The festival has continued to thrive and is coming up to it's 10th year.
