This video was filmed a couple weeks before Sherman went missing. I was in a really good place when I recorded it. I was clear, grounded, and proud of the work I’ve done around my relationship with alcohol.
Right now, I’m in a very different place. I’m tired. I’m heartbroken. I’m not feeling like my best self. And if I’m being honest, this is the kind of season that would’ve sent the old me straight to a drink to help numb my feelings.
But I’m not going to do that this time. I’m committed to being the best leader I can be for my organization, for Asher House Wellness, for Sara, for all my animals , and for all of you.
I’m going to feel this. I’m going to stay present. And I’m going to keep showing up the best that I possibly can ❤️
