How to enable Use secure DNS on Chrome Browser
To enable "Use secure DNS" in your Chrome browser, begin by opening Chrome and clicking the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then select "Settings." In the Settings menu, navigate to the "Privacy and security" section on the left sidebar, and then click on "Security." Scroll down until you find the "Use secure DNS" option. This feature helps protect your browsing by encrypting your DNS queries. You'll see two main options: "With your current service provider" or "Choose another provider." To enhance privacy, select "Choose another provider." This will present a dropdown menu with various secure DNS providers like Cloudflare, Google Public DNS, and Quad9, from which you can select your preferred option. Alternatively, you can choose "Custom" and manually enter a secure DNS provider's URL. Once selected, Chrome will automatically use the chosen secure DNS, encrypting your domain name lookups and improving your online privacy and security against potential eavesdropping.
