Some weeks don't leave room for the things that keep you grounded. No long quiet times. No finished artwork. Just the scramble, and somewhere in the middle of it, the Holy Spirit pointing you back to the simplest things.
This week on Kept., I'm drawing exercises, shapes, shading... nothing grand. And sitting with the question of what it means to stay close to God when all you have is a few verses and a prayer that barely finds its words.
Because I think we've made God the God of big, bold, bright moments. But Abba is a Father. And a father gets on the floor.
