Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! is a 3D platformer where players control the young dragon Spyro in the realm of Avalar. After being pulled through a portal while on vacation Spyro along with dragonfly Sparx hunter Hunter and Professor must collect talismans and gems to stop the villainous Ripto and his minions Crush and Gulp from conquering the land. Across three expansive homeworlds (Summer Forest Autumn Plains Winter Tundra) and over 25 levels Spyro glides charges flame-breathes swims climbs and headbashes to defeat enemies and solve environmental puzzles. Moneybags holds characters hostage for gems while Elora Zoe and others provide guidance.
