Snow's brief confrontation with Regina in OUAT S2E15: The Queen Is Dead
This scene clearly depicted how Regina felt that she was always misunderstood and labelled 'Evil' despite her efforts to change. With reference to S2E10: The Cricket Game episode, it was rather simple-minded for everyone to put the blame on Regina, Snow included, upon Archie's rumoured death.
Thus, I felt that this is just the consequences of the other Storybrooke character's unwillingness to remove that stereotype they have against the 'Evil' Queen and to actually, be willing to be more open for Regina's turnover process back then. Trouble is brewing, I don't think there's ever any chance for Regina to look back and turn over for the better.
