With clarity, courage, and deep devotion to one another, they chose to use Oregon’s Death with Dignity law to die together—a decision grounded in love, autonomy, and a shared desire for a peaceful passing.

Filmed by Sher and former husband, Rob Safran, with tenderness and honesty, this documentary opens a door into conversations many families struggle to have. It explores what it means to face death with intention, how to support loved ones at the end of life, and how love can shape even our final choices. Through their story, we witness not only the realities of medical aid in dying, but also the beauty of a lifelong partnership coming full circle.
