Don't mind that I have a leaf stuck in my hair. Sorry if that's distracting. I build a fire in my studio and somehow the leaf got in my hair then.
This video explains how to set up an acrylic palette. I use a sta-wet box, a sponge to go in the bottom of the box, freezer paper instead of palette paper, paper toweling.
The paints I use are all listed in the video, but if you are a beginning painter, I highly recommend you back away from the craft paints and invest in at least student grade artist paints. You could start out with the three primary colors, red, blue and yellow and titanium white. The colors I use and why I lay my palette out like this is all explained in the video.
