Although women make up a small portion of the watch buying market, that portion has been increasing steadily. Watch Brands have had to place a greater importance on the creation of watches that appeal to women without hurting their bottom line. In order to prevent the accumulation of too much unsold inventory they have begun making watches in traditionally Men's size cases with dials specifically targeting women. Allowing them to convert Men's watches into women's to fill the actual amount of orders required.

Women are increasingly wearing Men's designs also, which has blurred the lines of what makes a watch a Men's or Women's model. In this video Amy demonstrates the appeal a larger Case watch has for women, and why watches don't necessarily have to tick all the Enthusiast boxes to sell to the average person.
