In this video I cover the most important aspects. Let's see why waves break, where they come from, where you have to position yourself to catch a wave before it is broken and when to pop up.
There is a lot going on between the moment you see or pick a unbroken wave till the moment you surf on it.
That is this is one of the hardest parts in surfing. Beeing at the right time at the right spot.
Spend as much time reading the waves as you can. The rest is about understanding them and practice your timing and positioning.
