Contaminated Brake Surface
Your E-bike’s braking surface can be contaminated with debris, oil, or dirt. These factors can affect brake performance by reducing the grip between the brake pads and the rotor or rim. Clean the braking surface carefully with a suitable cleaner, such as isopropyl alcohol.

Damaged Brake Levers
Brake levers wear down over time. Your E-bike may accidentally fall over, damaging your brake levers. Replace the damaged brake levers with new ones.
Improper Brake Adjustment
Improper brake adjustments can cause noise and other brake failures. The brakes will fail to work smoothly if the cable tension is incorrect or the brakes are not properly aligned.
