Comoy's of London Christmas Pipes 1976 -1998 - Grumman Style: From 1976 to 1998 Comoy;s released a new shape Christmas pipe that gave the average guy a chance to build a real collection of good pipes. Pipes of this vintage were made of the best briar wood available at the time to make these pipes. I worked for a Tinder Box and we got the new pipes every year. 9 of these pipes were smoked, the rest virgin. 1988 - 1998 (11 years) have a stand, I missed three during filming. 1989, 1990, 1998, i.e. Those smoked were cared for by a registered tobacconist, Me. Carbon kept properly reamed, pipe cleaner in the shaft and shank between smokes, rotation of pipes so as not to smoked one all the time. Wood of this quality does not exist anymore in the wild.
