Chicana girl-group from East L.A., composed of sisters Rosella, Ersi & Mary Arvizu.
Though well-known locally, they failed to have major chart action on a national level and this was their last single release on the Del-Fi label, Del-Fi #4302.
Song was written by Jesse Hill, who originally recorded it; another great version was by Ike & Tina Turner.

Ersi was only 14 at the time of the recordings. It did say they always wore matching outfits and they used "Motown's Supremes as their main source of inspiration". It also mentions 2 members of the rock group Love (Arthur Lee and Johnny Echols) were musicians on these tracks. Ersi went on to record later with El Chicano.
