Tampa Police Searching for Shooter
Video shows suspect riding a bicycle southbound on 15th Street prior to the murder
WHO: The deceased is Marquette Dames, 24 (DOB: 11-06-1991)
WHEN: The shooting occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 6.
WHERE: The shooting occurred near Fowler Avenue and 15th Street.
DETAILS: Witnesses say that an unidentified male shot Dames and then fled the scene on a bicycle, which he later discarded. At this time no arrest has been made. The shooting does not appear to be random. Dames was taken to the hospital where he died later Wednesday of his injuries. Tampa Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the shooter and owner of the bicycle.
