EPIC fish, FAMOUS anglers and 1,086 years of MIND BLOWING fishing history 🤯🎣

Описание: The last time I visited the legendary Royalty Fishery on the Hampshire Avon, one of the world's most famous chalk streams, I enjoyed an epic day on the Bridge Pool punt and caught some spectacular fish with my old fishing mate, Andy.

It's therefore no surprise I've been itching to explore more of The Royalty, which is famous for big fish like salmon, sea trout, barbel and chub, and also for the well known anglers who have haunted its historic swims over the years. In fact, the fishery has so much history that it has its own museum, where I spent a fascinating few hours during two memorable days on the Top Weir Compound and fishing elsewhere along the river.

It was an unforgettable trip and that has resulted in my longest video yet, at over an hour! But I hope you'll agree there's not much filler involved and it's packed full of beautiful scenery, fish, nature and incredible history. Indeed, this video contains some of the best fishing stories I've ever heard, plus some jaw dropping antique fishing tackle if that's your thing.

I booked the Great Weir online, which anyone can do (link below), but you can also fish the Royalty stretch of the Hampshire Avon (Dorset) with a day ticket from a website or local tackle shops.
