This month's training topic, Serving Those Who Served: Crisis Care Approaches for Supporting Veterans, will focus on understanding the unique behavioral health needs of veterans in crisis. Participants will explore key factors that influence veteran suicide risk, reasons veterans may seek support outside of VA systems and veteran-specific resources available for tailored care. The session will also highlight practical, trauma-informed approaches for effectively supporting veterans experiencing behavioral health crises.
