“KALINKA” FROM RUSSIA OVERWHELMS DELHI PEOPLE
The spectacular concert by “Kalinka”, the National Children’s Dance Ensemble from Moscow, Russia, overwhelmed the people of Delhi at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in New Delhi on October 29, 2018.
The renowned dance ensemble “Kalinka” presented its colourful performance as part of the on-going Rosatom Festival of Science and Culture, an event, jointly organised by Russia’s Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation in Nehru Centre, Mumbai, and RCSCs in Mumbai and New Delhi from October 24 to 29, 2018. the artists’ team is led by Artistic Director of “Kalinka” Ms. Natalya Levitskaya - Filippova.
The legendary children’s folk dance group “Kalinka”, named after A.N. Filippov, was founded in 1968 in Moscow by one of the most famous children’s choreographers in the USSR – Alexander Filippov.
