This is a litter of 10 Golden Retrievers. They are 5 days old and their eyes have not yet opened. Each puppy is given a different colored collar at birth so that their weight gain and health can be tracked as they mature into vigorous field-line Goldens. We spend many hours a day making sure that all of them have plenty of time at the "milk bar".
In this video Purple Girl is trying determinedly to dislodge a brother and a sister from a milk tap. Sometimes a little bit of help is all you need.
