1_ Cultivation time

2_Selection of land

4_ Seed rate
For seasonal cultivation on tracks, two kilograms of desi tenda, one kilogram of low-tunnel and three kilograms of seeds are required for six-way cultivation.
5_Types of seeds
Among the types of seeds, the selection variety of Tande is more successful and cheaper than the indigenous variety and hybrid variety.
6_Use of fertilizers
Before cultivation, the land should be leveled well and 10 to 15 tons per acre of manure should be applied and mixed with plowing. 8 _ Pests and diseases
White mold, downy mildew and Akheda Tenda are the main diseases.___ For fungal diseases, spray Crezet 600 gm or Saxus 250 gm + Topson M 300 or Sulfur 1 kg or Alectus Ultra 200 gm or Avito 100 ml per acre. .
In case of severe infestation, flood 1 kg of saxus + 1 kg of float + 2 kg of sulfur per acre.
While among the harmful insects, pumpkin red beetle, fruit fly, whitefly, slow moth, sticky moth, leaf miner and aphid attack the crop and damage the production. Follow the recommendations of the field staff of the Department of Agriculture (Extension and Pest Warning) for control of harmful insects and diseases.
9_ Precautions
At the beginning of the tenda crop, pluck off the first or two ripe fruits immediately, this way the growth and production of the plant will be good. Fruits when they are of suitable size. So break at appropriate intervals in the evening so that it can be sold fresh in the morning. Since the male and female flowers in Tande are borne separately on the same plant and the female flowers are fertilized with the help of bees, the arrival of bees should not be affected. Spray 10 grams of acid per acre.
