DigVentures is unearthing new evidence about some of Ireland's oldest monuments in the Boyne Valley. They want to know when, why, and how these monuments were built so they can be placed into the wider story of Boyne Valley’s prehistory.
The Boyne Valley is home to Ireland’s most iconic ancient landmarks; Knowth, Doeth, and Newgrange. At over 5,000 years old, these incredible structures were clearly built with a sophisticated knowledge of astronomy and engineering, and together contain the largest collection of megalithic art in Western Europe.
