We are here to help our seafood sector in the UK to thrive. We support lots of seafood businesses who use our services, advice and campaigns. With Covid-19 and Brexit changing the industry, businesses have needed us more than ever over the past 12 months.
The people in our seafood industry are the real heroes so we’ll let them tell their own story.
This is Mark Newlands. He is the Skipper of the FV Chloe Ella fishing out of Buckie in Scotland. Thanks to funding from the Scottish Government and Maritime and Coastguard Agency, we helped him to take the five courses he needed to be a Skipper worth £10,000.
We help around 1,000 people every year who work on fishing vessels to get the training they need to make their career dreams come true.
