Описание: In this tutorial we see how to calculate the Gate to Source Resistance that form part of the voltage divider with the thermistor resistance. This calculation is important because it lets you specify the temperature in which you want your fan to come on.

The MOSFET is a semiconductor device that can be controlled just like a normal on/off switch, this mean it can switch any type of load connected to it assuming that circuit is properly wired.
In this experiment we use an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) Thermistor whose resistance varies based on the temperature it is exposed to, this properties is then used to control the voltage drop across the resistor and in return set up an appropriate voltage at the Gate of the MOSFET to turn it on, this voltage is called Vth (Threshold voltage).
