Riding Vietnam’s Most Dangerous Roads: Ha Giang Loop Local Route

Описание: Whilst backpacking vietnam, the Ha Giang Loop is regarded as having some of the most dangerous roads in all of Vietnam. From sharp corners and blind bends to gravel roads and drops to certain death.

One of the attractions on the loop is the famous skywalk. A stand alone rock protruding from the side of a mountain, over 1500m above sea level.

The brave ones will edge out to get the picture sitting on the rock, and the crazy ones will stand on the end. Last time we were there Katie didn't have the nerve to even get to the rock, so this time she had she unfinished business.

However this time we would do things a little differently. We drove ourselves to the skywalk... via roads that are no wider than a dinner tray with sheer cliffs, where a fall could quite possibly mean the end of our travels.

These are roads not meant for travellers, these are the roads built by the locals for the locals... and those who like to live life on the edge.
