Busan had been on my list for a long time, and getting to finally experience it felt really special. In this video, I’m eating my way through South Korea’s coastal port city, a place known for its markets, seafood, and everyday comfort foods that are deeply tied to routine and history.
You’ll see everything from early-morning jjigae and busy food markets to street food, bingsu, and Busan’s signature cold noodle dish, milmyeon.
I didn’t expect to enjoy eating here as much as I did, especially cold noodles, since I usually gravitate toward warm foods, but the balance of flavors, textures, and the way food fits into daily life really stayed with me.
One of my favorite parts of traveling is simply walking through a city, exploring at my own pace, and stopping wherever something catches my attention. Busan felt especially suited to that, calm, lived-in, and easy to wander.
This video is part food tour and part city walk, a look at Busan through its streets, markets, and meals.
