After weeks of cruising, we finally arrived in Georgetown, Exumas — one of the most vibrant and welcoming communities in the Bahamas. 🌴 But our check-in wasn’t exactly smooth sailing…
James and Captain Kaylyn headed to the airport for immigration processing, only to discover that the whole family had to come. Thankfully, an old friend of Kaylyn's saved the day and got us all to and from the airport!
Once we got settled, we anchored near Stocking Island — and this quickly became the kids’ favorite stop. Will learned to sail a dinghy, Nolan found a crew of new friends, and we soaked up beach time, bonfires, and even the famous Georgetown cruiser net.
This is a place full of connection, learning, and joy — and we only had three days to soak it in before heading north to Miami for the boat show.
