So what truly makes a stock a good investment or buy, well if you are an investor for the future then the company should have good profit margins, great leadership, quality products or services and smart plans for the future!

However if you are solely a technical trader then none of this really matters as all you need is volume and price action. Personally, I like to use fundamental and technical analysis when investing and trading as this gives me the best possible chance of coming out ahead. Nobody can predict the market perfectly but if you use patterns and indicators properly combined with good fundamental analysis then you should be better off than most.

It's important to understand that 90% of traders fail so we need to do our own due diligence before making any investments or trades. Shopify is a company that has millions of customers and is one of the biggest e-commerce platforms. The reason Shopfiy is so successful is due to the ease of use of its services, amazing support, quality products and services and genius marketing strategies.

But their stock price is a whole different ball game as their stock price will often act differently than the average trader or investor would think… So in this upload I essentially explain whether I think SHOP is a good stock to buy now or in the future! As yes a company can be an amazing investment for the future but perhaps it's not the best choice in the current time which is why technical analysis is so important to understand and use.
