With hearts overflowing with joy and gratitude to the Almighty, we—Mr. Robert Mascarenhas and Mrs. Evelyn Mascarenhas—along with our beloved family, take immense delight in sharing a moment of extraordinary grace in our lives. It is with reverence and elation that we invite you to witness a divine milestone in our son’s journey of faith and service.

Our beloved son, Dn. Rohan Edward Mascarenhas, will be ordained to the Sacred Priesthood by His Excellency, Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of the Diocese of Udupi, on Saturday, the 3rd of May, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the solemn and holy presence of the faithful gathered at St. John Bosco Church, Kelmbet, Bola.

This sacred ordination is more than just a ceremonial rite—it is the fulfillment of a divine calling, the fruit of years of prayer, formation, and discernment. It is a moment when heaven touches earth, as our son answers God's call with the words, "Here I am, Lord."

From a tender age, Rohan has walked closely with Christ, inspired by the Word, the Sacraments, and the quiet nudging of the Holy Spirit. His journey to the altar has been one of faith, perseverance, and unwavering dedication. As parents, we have had the privilege of nurturing this seed of vocation, planted by God and nourished through family prayer, the example of holy priests, and the love of a supportive community.

The verse from Isaiah—“I have called you by name, you are mine”—resonates deeply with our family as we witness God’s intimate love at work in Rohan’s life. This Scripture speaks not only of divine selection but also of the deep bond God forms with those He chooses. The priesthood is a unique calling, a sacred anointing where one becomes a shepherd of souls, a dispenser of grace, and a servant at the altar of the Lord. It is a life not of personal glory, but of daily offering—of love, sacrifice, and tireless service to the People of God.
