The ERA-PRDCR is a kit that features an indoor, passive infrared motion sensor that sends a wireless signal, up to 4,000 ft. away to the included ERA-DCRX. The ERA-DCRX is a desktop or wall-mounted receiver that may be programmed to up to 12 different ERA-compatible sensors/transmitters. The ERA-RXPG is also demonstrated as an additional receiver. There is no limit to the number of ERA receivers that a transmitter/sensor may be paired to.

Although the ERA product line by Safeguard Supply works great in homes and other residential locations, it was designed for use in businesses, retail stores, warehouses, and other commercial locations.

The wireless range of up to 4,000 ft. is powerful enough to work at virtually all commercial locations. Most products have a wireless range of 150 ft. - 1,000 ft., which sounds like enough, but the reality of interference from brick, concreate, metal, etc. makes them not strong enough in commercial locations.
