In 2010 Radio 4 presented readings of that story, and two others, in its Afternoon Reading slot...

Since that time the series has been repeated many times on the digital radio channels BBC7 and Radio 4 Extra. The same cannot be said (sadly) for Mike Walker's later adaptation, which was broadcast just once, on a Saturday afternoon in 2004...
