Udon Stir-Fry
Main Ingredients
• 1 pack of udon noodles
• 50 g sliced pork shoulder
• 1/4 cup shredded cabbage
• 1/4 cup sliced shallots
• 1 stalk green onion, chopped
• 1/4 cup sliced carrots
• 5 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 teaspoon of vegetable oil
Sauce
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
• 2 teaspoons seasoning sauce (e.g., Golden Mountain or Maggi)
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
1 Cook the noodles
Boil udon noodles for 2–3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2 Make the sauce
In a small bowl, mix:
◦ 1 tsp sugar
◦ 2 tsp oyster sauce
◦ 2 tsp seasoning sauce
◦ 1 tsp black pepper
◦ 1 tsp sesame oil
◦ 2 tablespoon of water
Set aside.
3 Stir-fry the pork
Heat a pan on medium. Add a little oil.
Cook sliced pork until no longer pink (about 3–4 minutes).
4 Add veggies
Add garlic, shallots, carrots, cabbage, and green onion.
Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until veggies are slightly soft.
5 Add sauce and noodles
Add the cooked noodles and the sauce to the pan.
Mix everything well. Stir-fry for 1–2 more minutes.
6 Serve and enjoy!
