Madison Tougher opened up to A Current Affair about her grief after losing her paramedic husband Steven, who was stabbed to death at Campbelltown, in Sydney’s south-west, in April. It happened a month before their daughter Lily-Mae Stevie Tougher was born. According to her grandfather, Lily-Mae is now "the glue" holding the Tougher family together. (Broadcast 26 June, 2023)
