Juli Lynne Charlot, the amateur designer who created the poodle skirt that came to define the 1950s, has died at 101. Charlot sang as a soprano in the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera and toured military bases during World War II with the Marx Brothers. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
