Описание: In December 2024, we escaped the Canadian winter to warm weather, flying directly from Edmonton to Huatulco. It was a new destination for us, travelling FIT (flexible independent travel) style. In this first part in Santa Cruz, we stayed right on Playa Chahué, and also walked to La Crucecita and Playa Santa Cruz.

We liked the vibe of the region. The Zapotec people are friendly and hospitable. The food was excellent all around the Chahue area where we stayed.
