Gun Hill is the second highest point of Mussoorie, at an altitude of 2,024 m (6,640 ft), and is accessed by cable car constructed from the Mall road. The cable car was constructed by the efforts of Mr. Hukam Singh Pawar when he was the Chairman, Mussoorie Municipal Board. At Gun Hill is a cannon previously used to sound midday time for the local inhabitants. It is the second-highest spot after Lal Tibba.
