গত বুধবার দুপুরে রংপুর পাবলিক লাইব্রেরী হলরুমে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এবি পার্টির মূখপাত্র ব্যারিস্টার আসাদুজ্জামান ফুয়াদ আরও বলেন, জুলাই গণহত্যার বিচারসহ সশস্ত্র বাহিনীর পদে থাকা অপরাধীদের বিচারের মুখোমুখি করার প্রক্রিয়াকেও ব্যাহত করার ষড়যন্ত্র করা হচ্ছে। 
একই সাথে উত্তরাঞ্চলের কৃষিকে বাঁচাতে রাজনৈতিক ছত্রছায়ায় গড়ে ওঠা ডিলার সিন্ডিকেটকে ভাঙতে কড়া হুঁশিয়ারি দিয়ে স্থানীয় প্রশাসনের জোরালো ভূমিকা রাখার আহ্বান জানান তিনি ।
