Transmission Drain and Fill: 2011 KIA Sorento 3.5L Engine

Описание: EDIT 06:40 - The transmission should only take about 3 litres to fill. The transmission does contain 7.8L litres, but only 3 litres of it came out for me. You may not need to pour in 5 litres. When I poured in 5 liters of oil, about 2 bottles worth of fluid poured back out the side hole.

IMPORTANT Make sure to get the Kia Sorento running up to 50-60 degrees Celsius (122-140 degrees Fahrenheit) before doing the transmission fluid change.

Change out your transmission fluid by draining and filling it. Do this multiple times, spaced out within 2-3 months. The drain and fill method is better than using the flushing machines that are at dealerships or other mechanical shops.

Those flushing machines contain dirty transmission oil from other vehicles. Using those machines at shops will deposit dirty fluid into your transmission.

Drain and fill is the better option for optimal transmission performance.

Torque specs:

Top transmission plastic plug (eye bolt): 25 ft-lbs
Transmission oil level plug: 30 ft-lbs
Transmission oil drain plug: 35 ft-lbs
