Finally we finish our step-by-step breakdown some of the core concepts taught in the wooden dummy form (Mook Yan Jong) of Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Some of the techniques and ideas taught in these two sections can seem a little odd at first - but remember, Wing Chun is a self defense system and not a fight sport. Many of the techniques and ideas that are taught in Wing Chun reflect the unpredictable nature of real world self defense and, therefore the forms give us broad motions (instead of specifics) that are meant to be adapted to the situation at hand.
