The difference in these worlds becomes even more apparent when Rob arrives on campus at Yale and in his life after graduation.

Something that "The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace" makes clear is that the path we take in life isn’t necessarily determined by one big event. It can certainly be altered by a drastic event. But quite often life consists of the many small decisions and choices we make along the way. It's a great conversation piece for a myriad of topics regarding race, opportunity, decisions, manhood, and what all of that means in a community.
