Weather at Southampton (EGHI)
METAR EGHI 102020Z 00000KT 2500 BR MIFG SCT001 M04/M05 Q1010=
BR = Mist, MIFG = Shallow Fog. A combination of low temp/dewpoint spread (M04/M05 = -4oC/-5oC) and no wind (00000KT) means that Fog is likely. This is a METAR that would result in me finding a new airfield! But where's the fun in that!? I thought I'd try using an auto-coupled ILS (autopilot) to cheat a little. But when that didn't work I was forced to fly the ILS manually! Featuring the Indiafoxtecho M-346 for Microsoft Flight Sim (MSFS).
