Описание: Dunagiri's ( or Drongiri, or Doonagiri) nearest town is Dwarahat about 16 km away. Dunagiri is famous for its temple, as well as the annual snowfall. The snowfall is usually very heavy, that you could see in this video too. For more adventurous snow trek people go to the nearest location known as Kukuchina which is another 6 km away from Dunagiri.

In this video, we show a snow trek which we have started from Dunagiri itself. We tried to build snowman twice. See the video and enjoy, do plan a trip to Dunagiri and Dwarahat.
The usual temperature in a snowless video is about (16-8 degree Celcius) and in a snowy day or when it is about to snow could reach as low as -13 degree Celcius. The Dunagiri Maa Temple is located about half km away (walking) from the location we have shot the video.

Dunagiri is a historic area in Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand in India. Approximately 400 km (250 mi) from Delhi, a cluster of six small villages forms the place that is variously known as Dunagiri, Drongiri, and Doonagiri. 116 such villages combine to form the Development Block of Dwarahat, which falls under the District of Almora. Located at a height of 8,000 feet (2,400 meters) above sea level, Dunagiri is famous within Kumaon for its temple of Shakti – known here as Dunagiri Devi.
