Why Dialogue Tags Shouldn’t Matter

Описание: When writing dialogue, aim to make dialogue tags like "[character name] said/asked/replied" unnecessary. Your characters should have distinct voices that render attribution in the text redundant. Of course, you should include pieces of character description and the occasional dialogue tag, but try to eliminate them wherever possible, at least for a scene as an experiment. It'll help you see the value in crafting unique character voices.
