This is a sneaky elbow that you can use to catch your opponent off guard when they throw a knee in the clinch. Since your opponent is not often read to defend when they are attacking, you can catch them with their guard lowered.
Jen demonstrates this technique as I throw the knee strike. The key is timing and using the element of surprise in your attacks.
