So, great Danner boot! Let's look at the specs:
100% Leather/Nylon
Imported
Rubber sole
Shaft measures approximately 7" from arch
Ankle-high hiking boot with rugged leather and nylon upper featuring removable EVA footbed and PU midsole for durable shock absorption
Multi-directional lug pattern

Overall, I am very happy with these boots. They are very comfortable. To test these boots for this Danner hiking boots review I did a 3 mile run and a 5 mile walk. These are fairly lightweight hiking boots, so it is pretty comfortable to run and walk in them. You can definitely find some lighter options out there, but these have their own benefits.

So, are these the best hiking boots? They definitely deserve a place on a list of great hiking boots for sure.
