Описание: Went to Canyon Drive Park in Lincoln City and had my best day ever at Lincoln City. Only 3-4 fish landed but I haven’t had much luck the last 3 yrs in Lincoln City. It’s a 5 min drive to this place. Went for 1 hr 20 mins with a bite on every cast but most bites the last 45 mins were silvers but first half hr had some BIG bites. My first redtails of 2026 on my 2nd trip.

This video is definitely not one of my best as when I get talking to people and I get very interested in what they are saying, I lose track of what I’m doing. I couldn’t ask for a better day between good fishing action and hearing some absorbing human experience.

One of the best things I love about fishing is meeting some very interesting people. I like to hear others’ life experiences and today’s was one of the best I have heard yet. I met Christine (sp?) who has an adopted son, Jeremiah, from Sierra Leone. His biological mother had her legs cut off and back cut up with machetes by African rebels. Multiple family members died from Ebola. First person I’ve ever met who has been directly affected by something as horrific as that. If you think we have it bad in the United States, think again and plez be kind to all. We have enuf hate in the world without generating more.

I spent a fascinating hour fishing and listening to their story in absolutely fantastic conditions. This is what makes appreciating others so joyful! We need more people like Christine in the world – she met Jeremiah by being a nurse on Mercy Ships.
