Gegege no Kitarou: Youkai Daigekisen DS speedrun in 1:20:09
Full Game speedrun, not just the first half. The DS version is by Bandai while the GBA version I ran earlier was by Konami, not a metroidvania this time. More linear with midway healing checkpoints, only the last 2 stages were going to be tough, the rest was pretty easy. Game goes to credits after 5 stages but the story continues after that. I did not seek out every available item, only the one just before the 2nd boss to give me extra health, and combining that with the default item to have 14 HP. Maybe there's items that boost your attack damage? I don't know but they would have to be out of the way to get them.
