This video describes my DIY CO2 generator and diffuser setup for my planted turtle tank.
I have a 75-gallon tank with multiple fish and a mud turtle. At the time of this video, I don't have a way to measure my CO2 levels but that will be here in 2 days thanks to amazon.
A few things to note:
1) I live in SWFL and I'm on well water so my tank does not contain an ounce of chlorine or any chemicals that come from typical tap water. My well system runs through a softener that adds salt and removes the sulfur-producing bacteria from the groundwater.
2) I've tried adding Seachem Flourish to my tank as well as increasing/decreasing the light output but that just seems to stimulate the algae growth which means my plants are competing for nutrients.
3) I'm no expert. I'm just a guy with access to the internet and knows how to handle a power drill. If anyone has suggestions or better information, feel free to share!
